Workplace Charging Scheme (WCS):
The WCS grant covers both schools and workplaces for the cost associated with installing EV charge points. It’susually limited to £350 per socket or 75% of total installation costs but schools receive an increased grant amount of £2,500 per socket or 75% of installation costs.
Charge point Grant:
The charge point grants are primarily to cover homeowners and renters across the UK. Specifically any renters, flat owners and those with On-street parking requirements. Similarly to the WCS grant scheme the value you can receive is £350 off the installation cost or 75% (Whichever is less).
Chargepoint and Infrastructure Grant:
The charge point and infrastructure grant is similar to the previously stated grant (£350 towards installation) but also allocates additional funds to allow for the future-proofing of the sites.It’s dedicated to landlords and businesses that want to provide charging for operational fleet and staff vehicles. These additional funds allow you to claim up to £500 per parking space enabled with supporting infrastructure for future charge points.
